Amazing experience at this place! The fragrance inside the restaurant was really pleasant and gave a very welcoming vibe. The aesthetics were beautiful and had a nice thenmanam feel to it. The food was equally impressive — the parotta and biryani were absolutely delicious. The starters were a bit on the spicier side, but still tasted really good and were enjoyable. Overall, a great place for both ambiance and food. Definitely worth visiting! Also Spl thanks to Ganesh, JK and team...
I visited Thenmanam in Anna Nagar for lunch during the Pongal holidays. Unfortunately, they seemed quite understaffed for the festive rush, which led to a significant wait time. Because of the holiday, the menu was also very limited, so I didn't get to experience the full range of what they usually offer. However, the food we did have was high quality and had a lovely, authentic 'home-cooked' taste—not overly oily or commercial. It’s clear there is potential here, but I’ll need to come back on a regular workday to get the full experience. Worth a visit if you prefer healthy, soulful food, but maybe check ahead during public holidays!
Thenmanam Restaurant is located near K4 Anna nagar Police Station. There is no booking reservation. Table was given on first come first serve basis. We went as a family. The receptionist welcomed us and our wait time was 5 to 10 minutes. As soon as we settled, they gave a display of all non-veg starters they had, which gave us a perfect idea of what to order. It was a new concept which triggers anyone to choose from a whole lot. We ordered five starters and two main course. All the dishes were extraordinary and finally ended with Paneer soda. Perfect spot for non-vegetarians. Their hospitality was the cherry on the cake… It will be better if they provide valey parking.
