Black Pearl Barbeque Restaurant

Third visit to Black Pearl and it’s officially in the “reliable favourite” category. The food was solid as always- flavourful, well-paced, no drama. Allaudin took great care of us - warm, attentive, and effortlessly on top of everything without hovering. Service like that makes you want to come back. Safe to say, we will.

I had a very pleasant experience. The welcome was warm and professional, which made me feel comfortable right from the beginning. The staff were polite, attentive, and handled everything in a very organized manner. The service was prompt, smooth, and delivered with great care. I truly appreciate the dedication and customer-friendly approach of the team. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to others. I have been to Black pearl once in 2024, and this was my second visit. Sad to see the quality deteriote so much. Firstly the ambience looked dull and smelly. The restrooms were stinking, they just put agarbatti to negate the smell. The service was too slow, most starters were not even ready though the main course was fully arranged. They had to cancel tawa chicken (a special live starter) due to some reason. Mutton sheek came after we finished eating and didn't taste all that well. Starters were okay nothing spectacular, with bbq chicken being the pick. The panner payaz and mutton sheek gravy was the pick in main courses. Chicken liver was a unique touch in exotic section. I remember they used to serve a mutton dry but that vanished from the menu. There was guitarist playing live music and the whole restaurant had a lovely vibe during my last visit in 2024. Sad to see Black pearl take the turn that most buffet restaurants take, give huge discounts (district or dineout) and take a massive hit on quality. If looking for a worthy all you can eat buffet try out Ancient Flame stone!
