Hello everyone I am sharing my birth story here and my journey with aunty. I joined Aunty even before I was pregnant. I enrolled in her pre pregnancy sessions. From then aunty has been a pillar of support in my entire journey. After I got pregnant I started yoga when I was 14 weeks pregnant. Her constant guidance , reassurances , positive affirmations and breathing techniques helped me in my pregnancy and labour. I got admitted on January 14th evening as that was my EDD. They slowly started inducing pain for me. By January 15th morning , I was 3cms dilated my contractions had started by the evening . I kept doing all the exercises and breathing aunty taught me. January 16th morning 7am when they checked, I was still only 3cms dilated but my pain was a lot. So I asked for epidural. After that the pain got better and they asked me to rest. When they checked me by 11am again I was just 4 cms dilated. But I was very calm and sure that I will dilate. I kept visualising the baby coming out like a ladoo😀 By 4pm I started feeling the urge to push. When the doctors came and checked , they said u was 10cms dilated , they could see the baby’s hair and it was all in my hands to push now. I started to push whenever I felt the contractions. I kept breathing throughout. By 4.27pm my little angle was born into this world 🌍 Thanks to aunty for all that she taught me. I never gave up and only the positive affirmations and breathing techniques worked at the time of labour. Once again ,Thanks a lot aunty. 😀
I just want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Aunty for being there throughout my pregnancy journey. I attended her online sessions, and even through online classes, her guidance was truly effective and helpful for me. When I was worried about my baby’s growth, she listened to me patiently, reassured me that everything would be okay, and guided me to do breathing exercises and positive affirmations. She was always available whenever I needed help, and that support made a huge difference for me. Her exercises kept me calm throughout my pregnancy, and during labor, the breathing techniques and movements she taught me really helped me deliver naturally without an epidural. I didn’t cry or panic during labor. I felt strong because of her guidance. I’m truly grateful for her kindness, care, and constant support, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
Joining Tilakam Aunty’s Thejas Yoga class has been the best decision in my pregnancy journey. I initially started the classes only to gain more flexibility, with no intention of having a vaginal delivery. I joined the classes at 29 weeks of pregnancy and attended them until 38 weeks. Over this duration, her motivation and exercises were extremely helpful during my 6 hours of active labour. I experienced rapid dilation from 3 cm to 7 cm in about 30 minutes. I religiously followed all her exercises throughout this phase and was blessed to have delivered a 3 kg baby vaginally. I would recommend every mom to completely trust her and truly enjoy the pregnancy process.
