If you’re a true food lover, Noor Mohammadi Hotel is nothing short of heaven. I finally got to try their legendary Nalli Nihari, and honestly… it lives up to every bit of the hype. The nihari was rich, slow-cooked to perfection, with the marrow melting into the gravy, bursting with deep, soulful flavors. Every spoon felt warm, comforting, and indulgent — the kind of dish that makes you pause and appreciate good food. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, the meal ended with their Rabdi. Thick, creamy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness, it was the ideal dessert to round off such a hearty feast. You can actually taste the patience and tradition in every bite. No fancy plating, no unnecessary drama — just authentic, old-school flavors that hit straight to the heart. Noor Mohammadi doesn’t just serve food; it serves heritage on a plate.
Noor Mohammadi Hotel on Mohammad Ali Road is one of Mumbai’s old-school Mughlai legends, known for its rich, no-nonsense non-vegetarian fare and deep-rooted history. The place is modest and often crowded, but the food does all the talking—especially the iconic Nalli Nihari, the much-loved Chicken Sanju Baba, flavourful Kebabs, and comforting Dal Ghee with rotis. It’s not about ambience or polished service; it’s about slow-cooked gravies, bold spices, and a taste of Mumbai’s culinary heritage that keeps loyalists coming back, especially during late evenings and Ramadan.
Worst place to go for food. Visited today on 7.3.2026 during Ramadan, in AC section upstairs, the guy was washing plates in small pantry like set up. Plates were lying on the floor, and he was literally making plates aside with his foot.. Kicking them aside. No question of having food there. Left then and there... Dont know about the taste, but hygiene and health is more important which I assure is worst at this place...
