After planning for last 3 Ramzan seasons, atlast could make it this time, mainly to have Pista house's haleem, which I missed after moving out of Hyderabad. Unfortunately I couldn't find it where it is supposed to be in Maps. I think it is closed and was very disappointed. Just stepped around, being a weekday and early as 8pm, not much crowd. However crowd picked up by 10pm. My take is during this season, you'l get variety of starters from many of establishments on that street. Went Karama, as crowd is more there, this place is opp to Empire restaurant. This place has everything, chicken starters being the crowd puller. You have to select the items, they'll heat it and handover to you. Staff will hardly respond to you if you keep asking prices and No prices advertised. After your selection, they'll tell you the price for all items together. It is crowded so can't expect staff to patiently tell you the prices of individual starters. Anyways just picked the spicy ones like chicken wings, pepper chicken etc. total costed 570rs which is certainly on higher side. Only 2/3 high tables where you can stand around, however plates are not being cleared. There are few tables inside to sit. Few sugary drinks available costing around 100-150rs, can try. Tried double ka meetha, which is pathetic. Mutton haleem is 260rs and I had far better tasting haleem in local shops in Hyderabad. Overall vibe is there and I feel the main reason anyone want to visit this food Street is for variety of chicken starters at one place. But prices are higher than usual. Finding a parking space is tough on this road, but I saw some spaces little far from this road.
Must visit place for the season. The food is too good. Only concern is the rush, you may have to wait for sometime for the food due to the rush out there.
It's not a regular food Street. Variety of food available only in the month of Ramdan, Especially non veg . Price is higher comparatively. Lot of traffic if you are going by 4 wheeler. Very much Crowded in the peak hours.
