Something needs be done about the lake and the smell!! The only time you experience this is while entering the hotel or exiting. So what kind of an experience you take with you totally depends on this. On a windy day there's nothing to worry about. Rooms are really good! The staff is good too!!! Food is excellent. Apparently the working hours for the staff is a lot. Don't know but just felt the need to point this out.
My stay here was exceptional! 🤩 I recently attended a Panasonic Technical Seminar, and the facilities were perfect. The service was top-notch, rooms were immaculate, and the location was super convenient. Absolutely fantastic experience! ✨🏨😊
Based on looking at a map, I thought this hotel would be in an excellent central location, but it turns out the hotel entrance and rooftop bar are located directly above a flowing river of sewage, the intense odor of which is the first thing you notice whenever entering or leaving. They try to mask the smell by burning incense, which simply makes the air around the hotel completely noxious. The room was decently appointed but dated. On the second evening I noticed what looked like brown coffee stains all over the bathroom sink -- apparently left by housekeeping. (Note I didn't leave any coffee in my room that morning.) Service in the restaurants was extremely slow, orders were frequently mistaken, and I was given someone else's check at the rooftop bar. Staff sometimes just hid away in the corner and had to be shouted at to come over. Food quality was mediocre; I had a much better meal at the airport lounge leaving the city. To top things off, I stayed and paid for 4 nights but only got Bonvoy credit for 3 nights... What a mess. Unworthy of the global Marriott brand.
