I will forever be grateful to Dr. Mugdha and Happy Pets. My dog Auro was under Dr. Mugdha’s care for about 7–8 years, and I often told her that she was truly his godmother. When I first met her, Auro was already struggling with multiple health issues. It was Dr. Mugdha who helped diagnose his hypothyroidism and guided us through a completely different way of caring for him. With her guidance, we shifted toward homeopathy, naturopathic care, supplements, and proper home-cooked food plan prepared by Dr Mugdha which became Auro’s highlight of the day as a senior dog he started staying happier then usual. All this change transformed Auro’s quality of life. Over the years, Auro being a 13+ years of a senior dog, developed many old age related problems like diabetes, thyroid, cataract, loss of hearing, seizures and severe osteoarthritis and there were multiple moments when it felt like he had given up. I remember times when he collapsed and couldn’t stand because of the pain, and the X-rays suggested that recovery was unlikely. Yet somehow, through Dr. Mugdha’s relentless efforts, her knowledge of different naturopathic approaches, and her refusal to give up on him, Auro would rise again. This happened several times, especially in his final years. Every time felt like a miracle. One of the most unforgettable moments was in 2023 during surgery for a tumor on Auro’s lip. Auro was clinically gone for almost a minute. It was Dr. Mugdha and her husband, Dr. Dipesh, who refused to give up and kept trying CPR until he came back. That moment alone speaks volumes about the kind of doctors they are. Because of Dr. Mugdha’s care, Auro’s thyroid eventually stabilized to the point where we were able to stop medication. As he grew older, she would lovingly refer to him as an old soul “super senior dog .” And yet he continued to live with dignity, comfort, and joy in his later years. Working with Dr. Mugdha does require commitment from pet parents. Her approach is holistic and disciplined: observing small symptoms, maintaining routines, and supporting the animal’s overall energy and wellbeing. But if you are willing to follow her guidance, the results can be extraordinary. Auro passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 17 years old, but I will always carry immense gratitude for the years of life, comfort, and dignity he was able to experience because of Dr. Mugdha. If you are looking for a vet who is deeply compassionate, knowledgeable, holistic in her approach, and someone who truly does not give up on your animal, I cannot recommend Dr. Mugdha Kulkarni and Happy Pets enough.

If you are a first-time pet parent, choosing the right vet is very important. We learned this while taking care of our kitten, Rumi. After visiting a few places and feeling confused by too many medicines and unclear explanations, we came to Happy Pets Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Mugdha takes time to properly examine the pet and explain everything clearly, including vaccination schedules, vaccine quality, and basic care. She believes in minimal and necessary medication and avoids giving supplements like multivitamins or calcium unless truly required, especially for very young kittens. What we really appreciated is her focus on safe vaccination practices, correct handling, and overall long-term health of the pet, not just quick treatment. Her approach is calm, transparent, and reassuring. The clinic is clean, easy to reach. A very good place for pet parents who want honest advice, ethical treatment, and genuine care for their pets. 🐾❤️

I’ve been taking my Shih Tzu, Rio, to Dr.Mugdha since he was just 45 days old, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better vet. She not only treated and saved him from parvo at such a young age, but has cared for him with the same love and attention she would give her own baby. Now that Rio is 4 years old, she still guides us with honesty, patience, and genuine concern. Every visit feels reassuring because I know he’s in the safest hands. So grateful for the way she has been a constant support in Rio’s health journey. Highly, highly recommend her! 🐾💛
