Good place. Masjid area is clean and good. Near by local area you can get punjabi and kurta at very affordable price and also get variety of attars. Best for haleem, chicken and mutton kebab. In the month of Ramadhaan it is congested at evening every day.

Nakhoda Masjid is one of the most magnificent historical mosques in Kolkata. Built in 1926 by the Kutchi Memon community, its grand red sandstone structure, massive domes, and towering minarets instantly capture your attention. The architecture reflects a beautiful blend of Mughal inspiration and timeless craftsmanship. I visited on 15 March 2026 during the holy month of Ramadan, and the atmosphere was truly special. The masjid looked serene yet vibrant with devotees offering prayers. Its spiritual aura and architectural beauty make it not just a place of worship but also a remarkable heritage landmark of Kolkata.❤️
