Had a wonderful stay at Taj Skyline Ahmedabad. The warm swagat with Tulsi mala 📿 at the entrance immediately made us feel special and welcomed. The rooms are extremely comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping and overall service were prompt, courteous, and professional throughout our visit. The food at Shamiana Restaurant was absolutely delicious with great taste and quality. The variety and presentation truly enhanced the dining experience. Overall, it was a pleasant and luxurious stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ahmedabad for business or family trips.

Deeply Disheartening Experience at Taj Skyline Ahmedabad We booked Taj Skyline Ahmedabad with great excitement, especially because the RCB team was staying there. As a family, and particularly for our young son, this was supposed to be a memorable experience. Before booking, we specifically confirmed with the hotel that there would be no restrictions affecting guests due to the team’s stay. Unfortunately, that assurance proved completely false. For several hours, we were denied access to key amenities such as the gym, swimming pool, and wellness areas despite paying premium rates for a luxury stay. Even more disappointing was the rude and dismissive behavior of some security personnel and staff, who made us feel unwelcome in a hotel we had paid heavily to stay in. Let me be clear—we never intended to disturb any player. We fully respect their privacy and security. However, treating paying guests as though they are a nuisance is unacceptable. If the hotel intended to prioritize a private group to this extent, it should have stopped accepting reservations during that period rather than charging guests full price for a compromised experience. The most heartbreaking part was seeing our excited son leave disappointed. We came expecting Taj hospitality and honest communication; sadly, we received neither. My advice: avoid booking during major team or celebrity stays unless you’re prepared for restrictions, inconvenience, and disappointment.

Well, I stayed at Taj to make my Anniversary memorable in positive way, but these guys made it a nightmare. I am genuinely shocked and extremely disappointed by this experience. A brand like Taj is built on hospitality, respect, and guest experience, yet during my stay I felt like none of those values applied to regular paying guests. If the hotel is hosting sports teams or VIPs, perhaps it should stop selling the property as a full-service luxury hotel to everyone else. What is the point of paying premium rates when key facilities like the gym and swimming pool become practically inaccessible? The most frustrating part was the attitude of the staff. Every attempt to use the gym was met with resistance, as though regular guests were an inconvenience. The gym appeared to be unofficially reserved, yet players continued to use it throughout the day. If the hotel can accommodate players every hour, surely it can allocate a few time slots for the guests who are also paying to stay there. What was completely unacceptable was the treatment of children. Young kid a 5 Year Old kid will naturally get excited when they see a famous player and may innocently walk toward them. Instead of handling the situation politely, security personnel scolded children in a rude and intimidating manner. Watching kids being treated this way in a luxury hotel was disgraceful. At no point did I feel valued as a guest. In fact, I felt like I was being constantly reminded that there were “more important people” staying at the property. That is not hospitality. That is discrimination between guests. I have stayed at many hotels and understand the need for security and privacy. However, security should never come at the cost of basic courtesy, guest access, and respect. The hotel charged me the same rate as everyone else, but clearly not all guests were treated equally. Taj has spent decades building a reputation for excellence. Experiences like this damage that reputation. I left feeling frustrated, unwelcome, and disappointed. Had I known that facilities would effectively be unavailable and that guests would be treated as second-class citizens because VIPs were present, I would have chosen another hotel.
