Celebrated Women’s Day with a beautiful Sunday brunch at Six 'O' One, and it turned out to be a lovely experience. The ambience was quite simple for a 5-star hotel, but the food more than made up for it. The buffet had a generous spread of starters, mains, and desserts, and almost everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Among the salads, the apple and pear salad was especially refreshing and flavourful. The samosa chaat turned out to be another highlight of the buffet. I also loved the veg sushi, the two varieties of hummus, and the veg dim sums, which were perfectly done. Moving on to the main course, all the curries suited my taste wonderfully. My favourites were the vegetable spheres in Manchurian sauce, double baked potato, and the comforting panch ratan dal. I also got to try foxnut (makhana) curry, which was quite unique. I usually skip noodles at buffets, but their crispy chilli garlic noodles were surprisingly good. Desserts were delightful too. The sponge cake was the highlight, along with the motichoor cream cheese dessert. One particularly fun detail was the Women’s Day decorations placed on the desserts — small cards that looked like paper. When I tried to remove one from my plate, it melted between my fingers… and that’s when I realised it was actually chocolate, beautifully crafted to create the illusion of a decorative card! The fried Bengali sweet wasn’t really to my liking, but everything else was truly enjoyable. To top it all off, the live music during the brunch made the celebration feel even more special, adding a lovely vibe to the afternoon. 🎶 A wonderful way to celebrate the day! 💛

This place offers a buffet in a five-star hotel setting with great ambience and very attentive, professional staff. The spread includes Thai chili chicken, Afghani fish tikka, salads, dim sums, sushi, and mains like biryani, pizza, and pasta. The chicken and prawn dim sums and cheese pizza were the best dishes. However, food quality was inconsistent. Some items like the noodles and soy garlic veggies were disappointing, and several non-veg dishes had dry, flavourless meat. For the price, the food didn’t fully live up to expectations, though the service and ambience were excellent. Good place for the vibe and service, but the food needs improvement to justify the cost.
