Visited Dravinam Cafe recently on a Saturday. The food overall was good, but the experience was a mix of positives and negatives. We had to wait around 30 minutes for a table, which is understandable for a weekend crowd, but the outlet itself felt extremely cramped and noisy. There’s barely enough walking space, and once seated, moving the chair itself was difficult because the tables are packed too closely together. The self-service system added to the chaos. There’s only one billing counter, so first you need to stand in line for the bill and then separately submit it at the kitchen counter. That process alone took around 10 minutes. Coming to the food — the masala dosa was decent, though the sambhar lacked that spicy punch and flavor depth you usually expect from authentic South Indian places. The dahi vada, however, was excellent, and the jaggery filter coffee was genuinely amazing. Pineapple soda was refreshing too. Overall: good food in parts, especially coffee and vada, but the seating and service setup seriously affect the dining experience. Will give it a try again.
