Hanging Gardens is one of those places in Mumbai that every tourist should visit at least once. Located on Malabar Hill, this garden offers a perfect mix of nature, fresh air, and stunning city views. As soon as you enter, you feel a sense of calm away from the busy streets and traffic of Mumbai. The garden is beautifully maintained with lush green lawns, colorful flowers, and creatively shaped hedges, including animal figures that are great for photos. Walking through the garden pathways is a pleasant experience, especially with the cool breeze that flows throughout the day. The highlight for most visitors is the breathtaking view of South Mumbai and Marine Drive from the top. During sunset, the sky changes colors and the city lights slowly come alive, making it a truly memorable sight. Hanging Gardens is a great place for tourists traveling with family, couples, or even solo visitors who want to relax and enjoy scenic views. There are plenty of seating areas to sit, relax, and soak in the surroundings. The place is clean, well organized, and safe. It can get crowded during weekends and holidays, so visiting early in the morning or on a weekday is recommended. Overall, Hanging Gardens is a peaceful, scenic, and refreshing tourist attraction that beautifully showcases Mumbai from a different perspective.

Hanging Garden is a place I’ve been hearing about since my childhood. It was always on my list, because no one had ever taken me there before. Visiting it now felt really nice. We usually think of South Bombay as a place where rich people live, but I feel that richness comes from places like this. The garden is so neat and clean, beautifully maintained, with red soil all around. You can actually see people constantly taking care of it so that everyone can use and enjoy the space properly. There aren’t any fancy exercise machines there—just simple walking, jogging, and running. But walking on red soil in the early morning feels different, it feels better somehow. The garden is huge, with many benches where people sit and relax after their walk. I saw many senior citizens there for their morning walks, and even handicapped people being brought in by their caretakers. Watching all of this felt really heartwarming. The place is very peaceful—no chaos, no disturbance. At least in the early morning, it felt calm and soothing. I don’t know how it is later in the day, but for me, that morning experience was truly peaceful.
