This vegetarian restaurant serves delicious Amritsari kulcha, aloo paratha and tea. Amritsari paneer stuffed kulcha costs Rs 210 and along with chole and chutney is sufficient for one person. They also give a cube of butter on it. The food here is worth the visit. Another specialty here is Doodh cola. Tea is available 24 hours.
Visited here after hearing so much hype about this century-old place, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. I noticed cockroaches moving around the dining area, including on my table and even on my clothes, which completely ruined my appetite. The washroom and basin area were also in a very bad condition and felt extremely unhygienic. Because of this, I could not continue my meal and had a really unpleasant dining experience overall. I genuinely hope the management improves cleanliness and maintenance, as the place has a long history and attracts many visitors.
It was a nice hotel, been there for having lunch. Location wise its on the main road. Food was good & delicious. Staff were also Courteous & Good. Cons: Place was little conjusted & not so open like big dhabas/restaurant. Overall it was a good place to visit & have snacks or meals.
