The Hydel Park (Business Class Hotel) Chennai

We stayed at The Hydel Park for almost a week while attending my daughter’s skating tournament near Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and it was an excellent experience from start to finish! The staff were incredibly kind, generous, and always smiling, ready to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond, whether it was suggesting great nearby restaurants, helping us get food delivered from places we liked, or assisting with little things anytime, even by around 10 PM without hesitation. The rooms were clean, hygienic, and well-maintained making our stay very comfortable. Although the hotel doesn’t have an in-house kitchen, the team happily guided us to the best nearby food options and made sure we had what we needed. The reception team was friendly and professional, and when we checked out, the staff helped us carry our luggage and even dropped us close to the metro such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture! The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a short walk to Chennai Central Railway Station and close to the metro, keeping travel around the city easy. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a friendly, clean, and convenient place to stay in Chennai especially for longer stays or travel with family.

Great value for money. I just booked a room because I wanted to store my luggage (there is absolutely nowhere in Chennai to store luggage if you don't have an Indian phone number or a valid long distance train ticket) before my flight to Dubai in the evening and to take a shower and rest a bit in the afternoon. Even so it was great value for money. For a similar room in Mumbai I paid 3x the price. Room was clean and comfortable. Good working AC, unlimited hot water, good pressure in the shower, clean bathroom and very helpful and friendly staff. I can recommend this hotel.

The hotel is amazing, so far the best service Iv had, from reception to the baggage boy every staff was soo friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean, we were shown the rooms before moving in, it was perfect, while we were finishing up with the formalities downstairs the readied up the room with amenities (all you need). The place is near a metro station made it really convenient to travel around, and I even travelled back to the airport via metro from there. Although we were provided with a menu for food and all, didn’t get a chance to use it as I ended up travelling Chennai for the longer time, but Im sure their service would be as good as they are. Overall, loved the stay, great staff, easy access to metro and other places.
