Dr. Selim Akram

Dr. Selim Akram has been taking care of my cat, Lebu Adhikari, for over a year now, and I honestly couldn't be happier. He spayed Lebu a few months ago, and the entire procedure went smoothly— no stress, no complications, just excellent care throughout. Dr. Akram truly understands pets and their individual needs, whether it's cats or dogs, and it's no surprise he’s so popular in our neighborhood. Dr Selim Akram is one of the top vets in Kolkata. He has a specialisation in animal gynecology which is rare in Kolkata. He is an excellent surgeon. My 5 year old culture pom had a serious case of pyometra. She needed complete ovario hysterectomy (removal of ovaries and uterus). We were very scared to get her operated because it's a life threatening operation. After a lot of research we found out about Dr Selim akram. His calm demeanor and gentle nature made us feel very comfortable. He patiently answered all our questions. And explained everything in detail both pre op and post op. He always replies on WhatsApp within 2 hours , no matter how trivial the question. The operation went smoothly and recovery was also smooth. The scar from the surgery is almost invisible! And my dog is so much healthier than before. She has much more energy and is active and playful now. We are grateful to Dr Selim for taking such good care of our precious baby. He saved her life.

My 7 years old cocker spaniel, Tasha was detected with pyometra and Dr Salem Akram aperformed surgery on her and surgically removed the infected uterus in an emergency operation on 13 Jan 26 . After 15 days of post operative care as advised by dr Akram the wound fully healed and Tasha has recovered fully and is as playful as ever (pics uploaded) . My compliments to Dr Salem Akram and his team who saved us all from this tragic incident . We are grateful to them and recommend him to every pet owner to take his advise whenever your pet is suffering . My best wishes to him and his team .
