This place is vibe, a true 5star experience, the food , ambience, atmosphere everything is amazing. We went for Diwali family lunch and ordered multiple cuisines, right from dosas to pesto risotto to pizza and hummus platter. We loved it all!! Total bill - 6 adults and 2 kids was 11000.
Hornby's Pavilion at ITC Grand Central, Lower Parel, was an awesome experience for me, especially thanks to the great lunch buffet. I found a delightful array of good food options, with a fantastic variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Their South Indian classics, Dal Bukhara, and Biryani truly stood out. What a pleasant surprise it was to also find a chaat station – a delightful addition! And of course, the desserts were plentiful and delicious, a perfect end to the meal. The staff were great, incredibly cordial and attentive, making me feel truly special throughout. It's a good, clean place with elegant interiors that create such a tranquil and sophisticated ambiance. Coupled with the exceptional hospitality of the ITC Grand Central, my time at Hornby's Pavilion was an experience I'll definitely cherish.
Damn! What can I say food was worst than going to some ordinary holiday hotel and eating buffet there. Over spiced vegetable, dry pasta, dry so called Mexican quesadila, horrible starters, sheekh kebab( made so early and kept under warmer bulb made it dry. Also think a lot of gram flour or some other drying part was used to make it more pliable and manageable),bad cheese balls, watery dal tadka or dal fry what ever tht was. Most items cold. They had so called pani puri. I don't know who has made the pani. Good help that chef. Desserts ??? Watery ras malai, mawa halwa??? Really just adding some part of mawa to your halwa makes it mawa halwa? Dense chocolate cake, dense eggy caramel custard. The warm water container in which scoop was kept for ice cream was filthy and water was cold. Guys do yourself a favor, eat the food before you put it on the spread. Not taste but eat. Chefs job is a blessed job in my opinion. You are feeding people. Let the food before tasty, cook with love and not as a 8 /12 hr shift . After spending 2500/3000 rs , give us decent if not good food.
