Khawa Karpo in Koramangala is quite popular for its authentic Tibetan offerings, and I had heard a lot about this place before visiting. Unfortunately, the experience was a bit disappointing. The hygiene standards didn’t feel up to the mark, which took away from the overall dining experience. The momos, while decent in taste, felt under-stuffed considering the price, making them less value for money. The laphing, which is usually a highlight at Tibetan eateries, didn’t meet expectations and lacked flavour. Overall, the place may appeal to those looking for basic Tibetan food, but given the hype, it fell short for me. With better hygiene and improved quality, it could be much better.
We tried the crispy chilli chicken, beef laphing and the chicken steam momo. The crispy chilli chicken tasted great but quantity of the chicken could have been a little more. The momo was good, and the filling was very juicy. The beef laphing was my favourite, had a nice spicy kick to it. Ambience and seating is small and neat. Service was quick too, affordable prices as well.
I visited Khawa Karpo Teibiten Restaurant Koramangala. and tried the beef noodle, chilli beef, and thukpa. Everything was delicious and full of authentic flavors. The food was fresh, perfectly cooked, and truly satisfying. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Tibetan cuisine!
