Located right under the shops of famous historical mosque Fatehpuri. This sweet shop serving since 1901 different varieties of Sweet as well as Namkeen items., especially the 'SevPak' sweet & 'Nawratan Bijia' this is mixed with all dry fruits and a lot of othe ingredients that makes it so tasty. I love ❤️ these two items, apart from this they have lot of good items. It's ideally located in the heart of the famous Chandni Chowk area.
This reamins one of the authentic place to get sweet and samosas. They have also launched namkeen in sealable pouch and shahi navratan is must. Somewhat the prices are on higher side but its must try as you wont get these type of authentic items now a days. The samosa costed 35/- inr a piece and paneer pakoda 45/- a piece. In sweet, patisa, kaju katli and others is must try items
Best Gajar Halwa EVER! We were tourists from Goa exploring Old Delhi area during Christmas weekend. We were visiting Chandni Chowk & Chawri Bazar area. Extremely crowded in mornings. It can be covered only by foot. There are cycle rickshaws around as well but the area is best explored on foot. So we chanced on this wonderful establishment, highly recommended by the locals. It’s not a fancy place, simple, crowded, fast moving goods and that typical place with an old time charm. No fancy packaging, no ‘vibe & ambience’ with ceramic cutlery & flowers. Just a plain old halwai ki dukaan with snacks, savouries & sweets from an era gone by. And it was crowded packed. The puri chole was too good. But for me the bestest part was their Gajar ka Halwa as well as moong dal ka halwa. There’s magic in every bite. This is exactly why Indian Sweets Rule!
