We chose two different set menus, and every dish felt like a masterpiece - rich, flavourful, and presented with an elegance that truly made us feel like royalty. A special part of our lunch was the mini tour of the restaurant given by Samridh. He shared fascinating stories and insights about Jamavar’s heritage and culinary philosophy, making the entire experience even more meaningful and memorable. His passion brought the place to life in a beautiful way. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Abishek for his exceptional service. His attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made our dining experience even smoother and more enjoyable. Jamavar is not just a restaurant - it’s an experience of tradition, luxury, and culinary artistry. A visit here is an absolute must.
Extremely disappointing experience at Jamavar about 3 weeks ago at lunch which was very unexpected since I've been here multiple times before and never had a bad time. We took the Maharani set menu and the staff took way too long between courses. At one point they made us wait 40 mins between the first and second course. The restaurant was at capacity but they were definitely not understaffed. When we asked for second servings, that took ages to come as well. All this wait didn't even allow us to enjoy the food properly. In the end one of the head staff came to apologize and ask if we needed anything else. We asked them for a second serving of a dessert, but then they straight up forgot about it and one of the other waiters got us the bill. I was done with this place at this point. Coming to the food, the prawns, chicken, and mutton starters were good. The rest were okayish and the desserts were uninspiring. I'd prefer a Royal Afghan or a Kebabs and Curries over Jamavar now.
うわぁ! The food here really surprised me, in very good way. The flavors are deep and rich but not heavy, so I can keep eating more and more. Service is polite, sometimes a bit slow when restaurant gets busy, but they try their best. The interior feels luxurious but comfortable, which I appreciate. Some dishes were absolutely amazing while others felt just okay, but overall the experience was quite memorable. I think this place is great for special dinners and anyone who wants to try refined Indian cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere. おいしい!と思う瞬間多かったです。
