I had heard a lot about the famous ice cream sandwiches at Rustom & Co. from a friend, so I finally decided to visit. Honestly, I was shocked by the crowd! The rush was unbelievable—I never imagined this place was so popular. It felt just like standing in a long queue at a ticket counter. After waiting for about 10–15 minutes, we finally placed our order. It genuinely felt like an achievement! The shop itself is very old and simple; looking at it, you wouldn’t guess how famous it is. I tried the Mango Ice Cream Sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The ice cream tasted fresh, rich, and homemade. I was actually wondering how they manage to keep the ice cream so perfectly firm. The combination of creamy ice cream placed between two wafers was simple yet amazing. If you’re visiting Churchgate, this place is definitely worth trying at least once. Great taste, nostalgic charm, and an experience you’ll remember. Highly recommended! 🍦✨

An iconic ice cream shop in Mumbai. They sell ice cream sandwich that uses wafers instead of bread. From what I saw, it seems like they still use old-school methods to make the ice cream. The price is quite cheap and they only accept cash. When it's crowded, be ready to wiggle your way to the front to order and pay for it; the staff seemed to be good in remembering the order "queue", so it's still fine. I ordered the King Mango flavor and it was quite a good ice cream to battle the heat in Mumbai.
