A Mixed Dive into Exotic Waters 🌊🐙 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ If you’re looking for a break from the usual butter garlic prawns, Santa’s Fantasea is definitely the place to go for an adventurous menu! 🌴 We visited with high hopes of trying their famous exotic seafood, and while some dishes hit the mark, others left us feeling a bit stranded at sea. 🛶 The Starters: Octopus & Squid 🐙🔥 We kicked things off with the Honey Chilli Octopus. It lived up to the hype—perfectly balancing sweet and spicy notes! 🍯🌶️ While octopus is naturally a bit chewy, this was prepared well and packed with flavor. We also tried the Shanghai Squid 🦑, which shared a similar tasty glaze. If you like that sweet-heat combo, these are solid choices! 😋 The Mains: Hits and Misses 🍛📉 * Mochiko Prawn: Honestly, a bit of a letdown. It was quite bland and didn't really stand out. 🍤😶 * Bansa Pora Mutton: This was a good dish, though it missed the "wow" factor. There was a noticeable lack of that signature burnt bamboo aroma. 🎋 Our theory? They might be reusing the same bamboo poles one too many times, which kills the smoky infusion. 🪵🤔 ⚠️ The "Tuna" Warning: Avoid at All Costs! 🚫🐟 The biggest shock of the night was the Hupak Style Tuna. Priced at a suspiciously low ₹250, we should have known better! 💸😲 The texture was a total disaster—so hard and rubbery that we literally couldn't tear into the flesh! 🦷💥 To make matters worse, it didn't look or feel like tuna; it tasted more like a tough Bhetki. Despite the "all-knowing" waiter's insistence that it was tuna, our cutlery (and our jaws) strongly disagreed. 🙅‍♂️🥢 > Pro Tip: Save your jaw the workout and skip the Tuna entirely. It’s not worth the price, no matter how cheap it looks! 🛑 > Final Verdict 🏁 Santa’s Fantasea is great for its unique ambiance and "exotic" variety, but the quality control is a bit of a roller coaster. 🎢 Stick to the octopus and the tribal meat dishes, but steer clear of that tuna! 🚫🐟

I recently tried the biriyani here and had a good experience. The rice quantity is more than enough for one person, so it feels very filling and satisfying. The chicken tastes really good—well cooked, flavorful, and tender. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a tasty biriyani with a generous portion size. Would definitely recommend trying it!

Amazing tribal and seafood experience. We tried the lobster, and it was extremely fresh with no smell at all. The Jadoh and mutton pora were also delicious—the mutton was perfectly tender and well-cooked. I have visited this place twice, and the atmosphere is very family-friendly. The interiors are aesthetically pleasing, making it a great spot to click some lovely pictures. Although the dessert options are limited, the staff is very courteous and attentive. They also serve a complimentary welcome drink if you reserve a table via District. The drink is rice-based—personally, I didn’t enjoy it much, but my friend liked it.
