The Travel Story

We had a great experience with THE TRAVEL STORY on our Spiti Valley trip in September. We were three girls, and this was our first trip, so safety and comfort were very important to us. Choosing them was definitely the right decision. The trip was well managed, and the stays, food, and sightseeing were all good with no complaints. A special thanks to Captain Kapil and Shubhi bhai, who were extremely helpful throughout the trip and made us feel comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. Also made lifetime memories with a group of strangers—lots of laughter, craziness, dancing to chatpate Bollywood songs, and scary ghost stories at night around the dining hall. The group vibe was amazing, and we truly had a blast with everyone. We would definitely recommend THE TRAVEL STORY to friends and family for a smooth and memorable travel experience.

Just completed an unforgettable Spiti Valley trip with The Travel Story! From the breathtaking landscapes to celebrating Holi in Sangla, every moment was magical. What started as a group of strangers slowly turned into a small family. The group had amazing vibes, and a special thanks to our super supportive captain (DJ) who made the entire journey smooth and memorable. Truly a trip to remember !! Sayonara!! Till we meet again

Winter Spiti is harsh, they said. Winter Spiti is an experience, they said—and that is absolutely true. The entire trip was very well organized by The Travel Story. From covering beautiful places to arranging comfortable and cozy homestays/hotels, everything was handled seamlessly. My favourite stay was the homestay in Tabo—simple, warm, and truly memorable. Our guide, Anubhav, was exceptional. He made everything feel effortless, ensured the group bonded well, and genuinely took care of everyone. Unfortunately, I fell sick during the trip, but Anubhav and the entire Travel Story team handled the situation with great care and professionalism. Even while I was juggling between hospitals and had to miss a few days of the trip, they ensured my safety, comfort, and smooth transfer to a lower altitude without any stress. A special mention to Gonpo Bhaiya, who drove us to all the places. He was incredibly friendly, fun to travel with, and an excellent driver—something that truly matters on Spiti’s challenging winter roads. Despite missing a part of the journey, winter Spiti itself is a truly unforgettable experience—raw, intense, and humbling. I definitely plan to come back once I’m fitter, fully recovered, and ready to face it again. This was a memorable trip, and The Travel Story played a huge role in making it so.
