Lord of the Drinks Powai

The ambience of Lord of the Drinks ,Powai is classy, spacious ,well managed with trained and cordial staffs. It has very good vibe and soothing acoustic music. Good place to relax after work or party time. Talking about the food,we had tried Veg food and every dish we had ordered were very good and had satisfying taste. Thank you to the chef/s and all the staffs. Highly recommended place to visit.

Very disappointing experience at *Lord of the Drinks*. Visited with a group and the staff was pathetic clearly untrained in hospitality. They arranged two round tables and one square table of different heights and tried to join them, making it extremely uncomfortable to dine. Non-veg food was terrible; starters were smelling and didn’t seem freshly cooked. Ordered a fresh lime soda which was bitter. When asked to replace it, the waiter returned the same glass within seconds, smiling instead of being apologetic. Much better options are **Social** or **Episode One** for food, seating, and service. **Not recommended.**

So we booked this place as a group of three friends meeting after work for some early drinks and dinner. I really think it started very well. The first three orders of food was amazing in taste, especially the nachos with chicken and then the drinks Also stood out, especially the GNT. But then by 0915-0920 The entire restaurant became dark with laser and the lights went almost off so here are the things we changed, which definitely said the tone and we left within 1520 minutes - Music was too loud with no bass so was shrieking in ears. - We ordered nachos after 9:30 and those nachos was the most disastrous thing that we ate as it was totally dry apart from the top layer. - it became difficult to connect with any server and get their attention, even to pay the bill unless we go and tap their shoulders. So until 930 I would say you guys were a five out of five, but then from the ambience to the service to the food, everything went down the hill. I hope we can do something better for the next time keeping in mind that you have audience from 20 - 40 years having a good time together. I don’t remember the name of any of our servers, but from the guy who took our order to the guy who served food they all were very good, smart, crisp, and really effective so full points with the team before 9:30 in terms of their service.
